Change the Resolution of a Java Application Software

One click fix!

Change Resolution allows you to resize, edit and change the screen resolution of Java based JAR games to any of the following predefined formats : 176 X 208 (Basic) , 240 X 320 (QVGA) and 352 X 416 (Double) right from your desktop.

Just select the original and desired screen resolution for the game you want, select the JAR file from your computer and it will automatically make the necessary changes for you. Be sure to backup the original JAR-file first.

My take on it:

Nice application, but the lack of lower resolution options is really a downside. This will make conversion much faster. Anyway, thanks to Macman for giving the link for it.

  1. Yes, this program I used it twice today. But seems not working. The main problem is that the S60v3JarResize.exe that I download and extract, then open. It gave me error message
“The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)click on ok to terminate the application”
So The software for resize the java resolution seems error, and can’t be run. It closes when I press the OK. Really, try it, you will know what I mean. 🙂

  2. i got the same problem too.i have download and unziped still get error for S60v3JarResize.exe.can any one tell me how to know the original size of a java game or apllication?
